[ He's wandered for a bit, trying to get a good grasp of the layout when he comes to the library. Yes, this is good, this is very good.

Bertolt then takes the time to walk amongst the shelves, trying to find some sort of book to read for the moment ]

[so funny story, Armin also naturally gravitated towards the library

which means there is now a very familiar face staring at you from the other end of the shelf. whoops.]

[ He's not quite sure how to act when he first sees Armin. Should he reach out and strangle him or give him a five-second head start? These are choices that need to be made.

So far, the five-second head start idea sounds favorable. ]

[there are a lot of thoughts going through Armin's head at the moment, but the most urgent ones boil down to oh shit. he's unarmed, alone, and there is no way in hell he could even run away fast enough. he is going to die.

[ there is probably no way that this won't end well, all things considered. but he's going to draw this out, just for a little bit. he still remember's armin's comments, there's no way he won't forget about them. and between just the two of them, he knows for sure that he's the one who stands a better chance here.

[ a pause as he takes in armin's clothes ] I take it you're a student, then?

[the slightest glance down at bertolt's clothes, never fully taking his eyes off his face.]

I take it you're not. What's your role in all this?

I'm an instructor.

[ Reiner isn't all that interested in the library, but it gives a perfect spot to ambush someone and lo and behold... there's Armin. It shouldn't be too tough to hide around the corner from where he's wandering and jump out at Armin when he least expects it. ]
