A couple of my teammates have told me the places they were in before weren't that different from this one. Well, not a school, but people got grouped in "teams". You found the writing on that wall and the handbook, in your team room? That thing about working together. Sounds pretty fucking ominous on its own, right?

Now, in those places, I've been told people lost memories and abilities — and had to take part in competitions to win 'em back. I've got all memories here, pretty sure my abilities are just fine, too, and I think you should be all in one piece as well.

But the set-up is the same, and they're telling us to be super tight with our teammates. And if what I've been told about the competitions is true, then that makes a hell of a lot of sense.

And now comes the heavy part.

My teammate, she told me these competitions are going to have us kill or maim one another. Either we comply, or something bad's gonna happen.

It's fucking bullshit. But no, I ain't kidding, that's what I've been warned against. We got no clue yet, but if my teammate's right, these assholes are expecting us to go at each other's throat.

I've got no intention of doing any of that shit, either, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people here aren't gonna be all jumping on the whole let's murder each other deal.
