All sorts! I'm really good at dark magic, especially.

Darkness, you say..?

How odd. Perhaps we are somewhat more alike than would be seen at first glance.

Well, my darkness isn't just darkness. It's also memory, emotions, death, transformation, and other things that can't really be handled using regular elements like lightning or fire!

Oh? Mine generally involves the void, gravity, and utterly unmaking things.

Oh, the void and utterly unmaking things, I can do! ...Kinda. I don't have the right spellbooks for that stuff right now.

Gotta channel power and all that.

I see... My seal handles that for me.

Seal? What kind?

[He props his head up on his hands, leaning against the table. Most of the seals he knows are for prohibiting things, not encouraging them.]

It is known as the Elemental Seal of Darkness. It holds back certain dark deities, but also provides its holder with certain capabilities related to the element.

You guys consider darkness an element, huh? We always called the elemental magic stuff that you can easily see in the world, more or less -- fire, water, air, and so on. Dark magic was everything else.

'Cause you can't see it.

So it's dark.
