[Henry announces this, smiling, as he too jumps out of the way of the killer rabbit and begins muttering incantations under his breath--]

[--PCHOO! A cloud of dark energy slams into the rabbit. It skids backwards, but then regains its footing, snarling with the razor-sharp teeth inside its itty-bitty boo boo mouth.]

Hey, buddy, we're not here to hurt you. Promise!

[The rabbit chirps (?) aggressively.]

[pulling out the knife he's been concealing in his jacket]

Do you think you can distract it for a little longer?

[because he is totally here to hurt the adorable little monstrosity]

[He sees that knife.]

--You're not going to stab it, are you?!

Of course I'm going to stab it!

[the rabbit leaps at him again, this time tearing off a bit of his sleeve in its teeth]

Oh no you're not!

[A little bit too late, Henry realizes that he's near functionally useless in battle without a spellbook. But there is no way he's going to let Armin kill that bunny. >:C He attempts to cast a rushed levitation hex, but between the power cap and the overall shoddy construction, it really only succeeds in sending the bunny crashing into the ground.]

What? Why not?!

[at least the bunny's dazed enough from hitting the ground that it's not making another attack right away. Armin holds the knife above it hesitantly, but doesn't move to stab it just yet]

You don't go around killing people, right? Well, I don't go around killing animals!

There's a bit of a difference between people an animals, you know...
