I... [reaches out to touch her shoulder, but she changes her mind and just kneels next to her to speak]

I think we can worry about that later. Worrying won't change anything, but maybe I can help you. Do you want to lean on me so we can go back to our dorm?

[dereban]

No, don't--

[ She bites her lower lip, flinching away ever so slightly, reeling as her hands close tightly, clenching her uniform with all of her strength in her hands, her eyes wandering in different directions; clearly in pain for a moment before it fades. ]

No. I'll... be fine on my own.

[ And as she says so, she'll attempt to get back onto her feet, using the wall to help balance herself. ]

Are you in pain? Is this... No, but...

[dereban]

I'm not in pain.

[ She shakes her head in response, closing her eyes. ]

I just don't feel well...

[starrytear]

[nods with hesitation]

...Let's go back. At least you can rest there.

[dereban]

... I guess that would be for the best. I wouldn't want to let you guys down while I'm like this.

[starrytear]

[clearly wants to say something. she doesn't, but she stays there, not too close to Inaba, waiting for her to move]

[ Once she's on her feet, she places her hand on the wall before looking back at Rue with a nod. ]

Let's go.

[she'll follow quietly]

[ Once she turns the corner and is out of the cafeteria, out of the eyes of the others, she'll lower her head, leaning against the wall as she walks slowly, speaking in a rather soft tone. ]

I'm sorry about all of this.

[starrytear]

[shakes her head]

Mm, it's okay. Just like you said before, Inaba-san... there's no need for you to worry about unnecessary things, either. Let's just make sure we get back to our dorm safely, and we can rest and regroup.

[dereban]

Even if I did say that, I'm a hypocrite. I can't help but worry needlessly. It was something I was born with, after all.

Mm... Well, I don't think it's bad to try to keep someone else from worrying. What I meant to say is that I don't want you to worry about me if you can help it. But... it sounds like neither of us will be able to avoid it.
