Now, to begin with, they only have guesswork and theory — and he honestly does not want to agitate anyone needlessly. But still he realizes it's better to be prepared, and if this guy and Rohan's team truly have no one who warned them, well, that puts them at a severe disadvantage ]
... All right, listen, talk's gonna be pretty heavy. I got pissed at my teammate for having no tact, but I kinda get it, there's not a nice way to put it down. But first thing first, this is all still guesswork here, got it? We don't know much yet.

A couple of my teammates have told me the places they were in before weren't that different from this one. Well, not a school, but people got grouped in "teams". You found the writing on that wall and the handbook, in your team room? That thing about working together. Sounds pretty fucking ominous on its own, right?
Now, in those places, I've been told people lost memories and abilities — and had to take part in competitions to win 'em back. I've got all memories here, pretty sure my abilities are just fine, too, and I think you should be all in one piece as well.
But the set-up is the same, and they're telling us to be super tight with our teammates. And if what I've been told about the competitions is true, then that makes a hell of a lot of sense.
And now comes the heavy part.
My teammate, she told me these competitions are going to have us kill or maim one another. Either we comply, or something bad's gonna happen.
